Knights - Accelerated Program

Are you ready to be Knighted?

The Knights Accelerated Program allows highly motivated students admission into the most advanced sections of all our Pathways including accelerated and Advanced Placement (AP) classes.
Students who fulfill the requirements listed below will earn the coveted Knights Medal of Distinction to wear at graduation.
While at Lakewood High, recipients of this honor:
- will be encouraged to begin their AP Experience in their sophomore year.
- will have taken a minimum of three AP classes and earned a B or higher in each class.
- will have taken the three Pathway CTE classes and earned a B or higher in each class.
- will have maintained a minimum 3.0 cumulative academic GPA beginning Semester 1, Grade 9 through Semester 1, Grade 12.
- will complete and record a minimum of 20 hours of community service.
